Thumbtack was designed to simplify the process of saving and sharing photos, links, text and more. It provided a single place to save or share the stuff you want from all around the web. We were able to learn about the differences between this new experience and sending a bunch of links in an e-mail, or setting several favorites in your browser.

Web Sandbox was created to explore the use of virtualization technology to provide an open and interoperable standard for secure web browsing.

Social Streams was a project to aggregate, store, and mine social media content. We were able to support a number of applications and research efforts including Political Streams, which was available during the 2008 US Presidential Election.

Entity Extraction used machine learning to identify meaningful text in documents in an attempt to turn the unstructured web into a rich set of tagged documents. It was an experiment with many ambitious goals that involved a wide variety of content types.

Listas was a tool for the creation, management and sharing of lists, notes, and favorites. It enabled people to quickly and easily edit lists, share them with others for reading or wiki-style editing, and discover additional information from public lists.
